IDG Benefits Fund is a sister organization to the Independent Drivers Guild created to manage benefits.

 

IDG Benefits Fund:

• Provides outreach for health insurance enrollment.  Since November 2017 we have worked with navigators and spoken with thousands of drivers offering free enrollment assistance in Medicaid, the Essential Plan, Child Health Plus and Obamacare plans.

• Partners with Memorial Sloan Kettering to provide free blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar screening to drivers at meet up spots.  Drivers without a Primary Care Physician are offered 1 year of free counseling to get them connected to care. 

• Sourced discount prescription drug cards offered free to drivers.

• In contract to install bathrooms for drivers at the Port Authority
